Patrick Fernbach Presenting at MEP Force
Patrick Fernbach, Lead Mechanical Engineering Associate and Software Engineer at Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers), will present in two sessions at MEP Force, the only virtual conference focused on mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering. Starting Aug. 31 through Sept. 2, 2020, the conference connects over 700 attendees and has approximately 80 breakout sessions taught by industry peers and leaders.
Fernbach’s first session, “Free Revit Add-ins with Autodesk’s SharpDevelop!,” will be held on Sept. 1 from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Attendees will get a glimpse into how to utilize a feature that comes with Revit to write macros, which can be used to increase quality and productivity. Attendees will also learn the key differences between macros and Dynamo—an open source visual programming platform—and how to write their own macro.
On Sept. 2 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Fernbach is co-presenting “Design to Fabrication” with Chris Hronek, Fabrication Database Manager at Tweet/Garot Mechanical. Attendees will get an inside look of a case study that Tweet/Garot Mechanical and KLH Engineers collaborated on from design through construction. Attendees will get examples of how the contractors and engineers worked as a team in efforts for a seamless fabrication conversion and to eliminate frustration by leveraging each other’s strengths.
