Brian Bruggeman Leading Roundtable at ICSC 2020 CenterBuild Conference
Brian Bruggeman, Chief Client Officer at Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers), will facilitate a roundtable session titled “Leveraging Project Information and Brand Standards for Leaner Retail Construction” at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) 2020 CenterBuild Conference on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST.
Bruggeman’s roundtable session will address processes and resources that can identify, leverage and transfer critical building information that can reduce waste, lower cost and mitigate risk for retailers, designers and contractors alike. The session will include four learning objectives:
- Discuss how to identify building information that can improve design, construction and asset management.
- Learn how to audit retailer’s standards against the actual plans as the design proceeds through the stages of document production.
- Explore the benefits of using Revit, BIM and other advanced software resources in every day retail and mixed-use design.
- Learn the common pain points experienced by retailers, developers, designers and contractors alike and how a data-driven design and construction process can eliminate common errors.
The 2020 CenterBuild conference runs from Wednesday, December 2 – Friday, December 4. With 123 speakers and 90 sessions, it is the premier event for professionals dedicated to the planning, development, design and construction of shopping centers, retail stores and retail-focused developments.
