KLH Engineers to Present at Trimble MEP Special Event
Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers), a national mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and technology engineering firm, will present at the Trimble MEP Special Event beginning on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. The free, two-day virtual event will provide exciting product updates that will transform the way MEP contractors and engineers work.
James Tavernelli, PE, LEED AP, MBA, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Alex Jonovski, PE, Principal and Vice President of Strategic Growth, will present “Focused on Point of Install: The Consulting Engineer of Tomorrow” on April 21, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. EDT. The presentation will cover KLH Engineer’s transformation from traditional consulting engineering firm to a technology company in support of the contractor’s effort to create the built environment.
Attendees will hear about KLH Engineers’ journey that began five years ago, when it began to redefine the value and role of the consulting engineer. The firm decided that the consulting engineer of tomorrow simply could not continue to create waste by developing schematic floor plans and book specifications. They need to support downstream contractors by providing data-rich deliverables that have the flexibility to support alternative construction strategies and progressive project delivery models.
The presentation will also highlight how KLH Engineers practices engineering in the increasingly industrialized, data-rich world of construction, and cover the firm’s diversification that allows its innovation to impact the project, and industry at-large, in disruptive ways.
