Alex Jonovski Presenting at ENR FutureTech
Alex Jonovski, PE, principal and vice president of strategic growth at Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers), is speaking alongside Rose Hall, vice president, head of construction innovation at AXA XL, a division of AXA, in a panel titled “Project Delivery in a Tech-Enabled World” at Engineering News-Record (ENR) FutureTech held on June 9-11, 2021. This virtual event is for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) business and IT leaders to explore emerging technologies that can enhance construction productivity, profits and safety.
Many of these new technologies, workflows and construction methods are leveraging building information modeling (BIM) and project data at an accelerated rate. While some owners and AEC firms are embracing these innovations as means to improve efficiency, mitigate risks, reduce waste and increase profits, others still view any new technology as a liability.
Jeff Rubenstone, senior editor, technology and equipment at ENR, will moderate the panel as Jonovski and Hall discuss past, present, and future innovations in project delivery, with a focus on managing risk through data, and innovative insurance practices made possible by this evolution. The case studies, analysis and visionary thinking will provide firm leaders with insight they need to prepare their companies for the future of data as a risk mitigation strategy.
Jonovski is a frequent speaker on integrated delivery models and leveraging data across the design and construction value stream. He examines bet practices and modified workflows that can enhance the delivery of design services and provide a greater level of collaboration among design and construction professionals.
