Stephen Federle, PE, principal and director of engineering at Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers), is speaking at Cincinnati BIM User Group’s “Q3 – Pre-fabricating the Future” event on Thursday, September 23, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually and in-person at CR architecture + design located at 600 Vine Street, #2210 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Federle will present on how KLH has leveraged BIM in partnership with Construction Innovations to streamline pre-fabrication. Construction Innovations is a manufacturing company in Sacramento, California, that specializes in manufacturing assemblies and kits. One of their largest markets is utility scale solar installations. Through a unique partnership, KLH and Construction Innovations worked together to create custom software that leverages BIM and streamlines the manufacturing process for solar installations. This presentation will explore this journey and the benefits that were found.
