KLH Engineers to Present at Advancing Prefabrication 2022
For the second consecutive year, Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers) will present at Advancing Prefabrication in three inspiring sessions. Held from April 26-29, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona, Advancing Prefabrication is North America’s premier thought leadership conference dedicated to revolutionizing prefab, modular and industrialized manufacturing approaches across the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) supply chain.
In the first session, Jim Tavernelli, president and chief operations officer of KLH Engineers, will serve as a panelist in “Establishing the Foundations of an Organization Ready to Embrace Industrialized Construction” on April 26 at 9:00 a.m. MST. The panel will discuss the impact of disruptive innovation and how an organization can assess its readiness, lay a foundation for success, and prepare employees for the transformation. Additional panelists include Stacy Scopano, vice president, national prefabrication and manufacturing director, JE Dunn Construction Company; Randee Herrin, senior vice president, construction technologies and manufacturing, TDIndustries; and Marc Paolicelli, chief customer officer and senior vice president, RK Industries LLC.
Also on April 26, Tavernelli will co-present with Justin Martin, president and chief executive officer of Corbins Electric, in “Deploying Your Strategy and Managing Change to Effectively Embed New Direction” at 12:00 p.m. MST. Attendees will learn how to translate a mission into an actionable plan with meaningful short- and long-term goals, utilize the psychology of change to adapt the mindset of employees, create change agents to champion innovation, and develop a process to evaluate success.
Lastly, KLH Engineers will co-present with its partners in Demain in a session titled “From Collaborative Innovation to Commercial Opportunity: How Has Demain Evolved into a New Cog in the Industrialized Construction Supply Chain?” on April 28 at 2:45 p.m. MST. The presentation will explore how this strategic partnership has evolved into its own entity and opened new commercial opportunities and joint product offerings. It will also address the transfer of information between companies to enable greater collaboration as well as overcoming the cultural, financial and contractual challenges of building a strategic partnership. Speakers include Amanda Karling, mechanical engineering associate, KLH Engineers; Adam Perales, business development manager, Construction Innovations; and Alan Van Mun, director of project construction, Tweet/Garot Mechanical.
