KLH Engineers to Present at Advancing Prefabrication 2023
For the third year in a row, Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers) will present at Advancing Prefabrication in two informative sessions. Held from March 14-17, 2023, in Phoenix, Arizona, Advancing Prefabrication is North America’s premier networking and thought leadership conference dedicated to revolutionizing prefabrication, modular and industrialized manufacturing approaches across the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) supply chain.
Jim Tavernelli, president and chief operations officer of KLH Engineers, will present “Optimizing Efficiency & Profitability Through Digital Transformation” on March 14 at 3 p.m. MST. The presentation will focus on why and how businesses are transitioning to be data and technology driven, along with improving the adoption and testing of manufacturing and automation technologies to support industrialization through creating a corporate innovation strategy. Attendees will also learn how digitization is connecting the supplier network to the manufacturing floor and what this means for the future of products and services.
Lead mechanical engineering associates, Amanda Karling and Tyler Watkins, will co-present “Optimizing Collaboration From Design Through Construction to Achieve Seamless Project Delivery” on March 16 at 11 a.m. MST. The presentation will explore the way engineers and contractors collaborate to achieve tighter cost estimates and scheduling in early design phases. Attendees will also discover how collaboration drives efficiency to provide a more thoughtful opportunity for prefabrication. Overcoming the ‘fear’ of doing things differently and addressing the cultural shift that needs to happen within an organization will also be discussed.
