Patrick Eldridge to Present on AI in Design and Construction at the Cincinnati BIM User Group
Patrick Eldridge, AI architect and lead mechanical engineering associate at Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers), will present at a Cincinnati BIM User Group event titled “Building Brilliance: Harnessing AI for Design and Construction” on August 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. EST at Elevar Design Group in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This free event will explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) in revolutionizing the realms of design and construction. Attendees will discover how AI technologies streamline processes, optimize efficiency, and unlock innovative solutions, from conceptualization through to completion. They will also gain insights into cutting-edge applications, predictive analytics, and collaborative platforms shaping the future of architecture and engineering.
Eldridge will discuss several of KLH’s latest technological advancements and proprietary software including KLHIO, an on-premise AI chatbot. KLHIO leverages a large language model to answer user questions by searching KLH internal data, providing engineers with tailored, relevant information, while also maintaining company data privacy. Additionally, KLH is utilizing machine learning to seamlessly convert models from AutoCAD to Revit, as well as generative AI for design, to further streamline the design process.
Additional speakers include Andy Burg, operations technology solutions vice president at Messer Construction Co.
