Bruggeman and Smith to Present at Cogence Alliance Town Hall
Brian Bruggeman, principal and chief client officer, and Corey Smith, director of BIM, at Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers) will present at the Cogence Alliance Town Hall on September 12-13, 2024, at the Hilton Easton Center in Columbus, Ohio. The event will feature a variety of sessions designed to foster collaboration and innovation among owners, architects, engineers, construction trades and affiliated parties.
Bruggeman and Smith’s presentation, “Accelerating Construction Workflows With Technology,” will take place on September 12 at 1:30 p.m. as part of Track 2B. This session will explore how design professionals can create a shared environment of project information that delivers value to each stakeholder throughout the entire design, construction and building operations life cycle. Attendees will learn how to create common parameters, centralize model locations and leverage technology to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, reduce waste and boost project delivery.

About the Presenters:
Brian Bruggeman is a principal and chief client officer at KLH Engineers, where he oversees sales, client relations, and project management services. With 25 years of experience in the AEC industry, Brian is a recognized expert in legislative affairs, public-private partnerships, and economic development. He has helped contract over $20 billion in vertical construction and is actively involved in industry associations such as AIA, SMPS and the Kentucky League of Cities.
Corey Smith serves as the director of BIM at KLH Engineers, where he leads a team of model managers in the creation and implementation of BIM standards across all market segments. Corey oversees the setup of Revit models, ensuring consistency and quality in construction document production. A frequent presenter at the Cincinnati BIM User Group and Autodesk University, Corey is known for his expertise in BIM technologies and his role as a Lead Mechanical Designer.
