Brian Bruggeman to Moderate SMPS Columbus Panel: Unlocking Market Potential with Modular Construction
Brian Bruggeman, principal and chief client officer at Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers (KLH Engineers), will moderate a panel discussion titled “Building Tomorrow: Unlocking Market Potential with Modular Construction” at Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus, Ohio, on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. EST. This event, hosted by the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Columbus, will explore the transformative potential of modular construction, which offers shorter timelines, improved safety, and significant cost savings by moving much of the work offsite to controlled factory environments.
The panel will explore the key strategies that position modular construction as a game-changer in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. Attendees will gain insights into the practical advantages of schedule certainty, the branding and business opportunities that modular construction provides, and how firms can leverage these benefits to stay ahead in the evolving construction landscape.
Attendees will gain actionable insights into collaborating effectively with modular teams, leveraging lean principles for client satisfaction, and creating new growth pathways through modular design.
Bruggeman will be joined by Alex Jonovski, chief executive officer at Demain; Brad DeHays, founder and president at Connect Real Estate; Tim Rank, associate principal and senior architect at NAC; and David Williams, preconstruction executive at Gilbane.
The event is open to SMPS members for $55 and non-members for $75, with the opportunity to earn 1.5 CPSM credits.
Event registration closes on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. EST. For more information and to register, please visit the SMPS Columbus website for more information.
