Challenging traditions for positive impact
Break down barriers
For far too long, the AEC industry has been inherently confined to the silos of each stakeholder’s contractual role. These silos are significant contributors to the waste and inefficiency in the industry. We seek like-minded partners willing to break down barriers, engage in open debate on best practices and new workflows, and adopt a willingness to share project data for greater outcomes.
Join the Big Room and innovate together
The Big Room is a lean approach to support collaborative behavior among like-minded partners and stakeholders. Our partners willingly abandon the traditional mindset and utilize the Big Room environment to innovate and create more efficient workflows, technologies, and data-driven results that benefit all members.
Be willing to share ideation
We learn from each other. The KLH team has a long-standing willingness to share the challenges and successes we have encountered along our lean journey. We commit to learning from our partners and contributing ideas to achieve something greater than ourselves.
Demain Consortium
KLH is a founding member of Demain, a consortium of like-minded firms in the architecture, engineering and construction industry. We share one common goal: by leveraging standards of BIM to totally integrate data throughout the design and construction value stream, we can eliminate the silos and bridge the gap between design and construction. By uniting this unique group of thought leaders, contractors, engineers and architects, we are challenging traditional notions of construction workflows. Our Demain partners include Construction Innovations, DPMG Corporation, RexMoore and Tweet/Garot Mechanical.
