Apiary Fine Catering & Events

Apiary is a special event venue serving as the center point for a Lexington catering company. The Apiary grounds are a true reflection of the beauty of the southern United States, with wrought iron gates, ivy draping the exterior brick fencing, and a pristine landscape design throughout the courtyard. The dining room, called the Orangerie, features 18-foot windows that bring the landscape elements indoors, adding to the grandeur of the facility.

While KLH served as the Engineer of Record, it is the firm’s lighting design that helps capture the atmosphere and aesthetics of the space. The lighting selections accented the architecture, finishes, and outdoor spaces, and were integrated to feature decorative pieces throughout. The KLH team also designed a flexible lighting control system. The general lighting throughout the space uses dimmable LED lights to create the desired atmosphere.
