Metropole

Metropole is a 3,082 square-foot restaurant located on the first floor of the 21c Museum Hotel, a historic rehabilitation project in the entertainment district area of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Because Metropole is located within the hotel, it offers nine unique event spaces totaling more than 8,000 square feet—from a small, private dining room to a large event space that doubles as a 21c Museum gallery.

KLH Engineers designed many sustainable features of the building systems including highly efficient HVAC and lighting, reduced water consumption, improved indoor air quality and reduced CO2 emission footprint. Partnering with other consultants, KLH worked with the team to obtain sales tax and utility rebate incentives.
