Riverside Crossing Park

KLH Engineers served as the electrical design consultant in association with the development of the Riverside Crossing Park, a public landmark in association with the Bridge Park mixed use development. Power distribution was required for both the east and west side of the river with both areas of the park being connected by pedestrian bridge design. The East Plaza was planned to be the center for activities and regional events featuring upper and lower terraces, pavilion building, water features, greenspace and seating areas. The West Plaza connects the bridge with the center of Historic Dublin and stresses the riverbank with water access and a trail system that connects into the Indian Run greenway.

KLH served as a subconsultant and coordinated the design of the electrical systems on both sides of the river to support the vision of the park. Electrical coordination with the structural engineer at both the east and west side landing was required for the bridge. The power distribution was designed for the pedestrian walkway lighting, the landscape accent lighting in the masonry and uplights, food trucks and future amenities. KLH provided utility coordination and permit submissions.
