Xavier University Health United Building
Health, wellness and fitness is part of the daily routine of millions of Americans. Thanks to the collaboration with regional healthcare provider TriHealth, Xavier University (XU) opened the doors to its new Health United Building, nicknamed the HUB, in the fall of 2019. The $52-million complex houses a new recreation center, upgraded health and wellness center, and state-of-the-art classroom and laboratory facilities for five health services programs: nursing, occupational therapy, health services administration, sports studies and radiological technology.
Boasting a rooftop deck and innovation lounge, the HUB includes first-class fitness equipment, 11 classrooms, 12 private study rooms, five lounges, five nursing simulation labs, two computer labs and a radiologic viewing area. A unique facility of its type in the United States, it combines physical fitness, healthcare services and health services academic programs under one roof.
